COVID Safety Measures for in-person courses

Education Resources will follow the COVID protocols and guidelines for the local state and facility where the courses are being held.  Any guidelines issued by the hosting facility will be shared with you on the course page and in the course confirmation that you will receive via email 2-3 weeks prior to the course  and must be reviewed.

  • Please do not attend the course if you are experiencing any symptom of illness such as cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell.
  • Please do not attend the course if you believe you have been exposed to someone with a suspected and/or confirmed case of the Coronavirus/COVID-19
  • If you are feeling unwell at any time during the course, please notify the faculty and leave immediately.
  • You will be required to sign a liability waiver attesting to adherence to the COVID protocols and submit at course check in

Creating, Accessing, and Resetting Your ERI Account

To Create an Account:

  1. Click here and follow the prompts and complete the online profile
  2. Click “Submit”
  3. At the top of the page, click “Login”
  4. Enter your email address and create a password
  5. Visit “My Dashboard” to view your account information including, evaluations, certificate of attendance access, and access to online courses

To Access or Login to Your Account:

  1. Visit educationresourcesinc.com
  2. Enter your email address and password
  3. Click “Login’
  4. Visit “My Dashboard” to view your account information including, evaluations, certificate of attendance access, and access to online courses

To Reset Your Password (Forgot Password):

  1. Visit educationresourcesinc.com
  2. Enter your email address and click “Forget Password?”
  3. You will receive an email prompting you to reset your password (check your spam and junk folder.)
  4. Once the password is set, log in to your account using your email and password
  5. Visit “My Dashboard” to view your account information including, evaluations, certificate of attendance access, and access to online courses
  6. If you do not receive a new password:
  • Check that the message hasn’t ended up in your deleted items or in a spam filter
  • Whitelist the email address info@educationresourcesinc.com in your mail settings to help ensure messages get through

IMPORTANT: If a user attempts to enter an incorrect password more than three times, internet security will block the user as well as any additional users on the same IP address. Should this happen, call 800-487-6530 or email info@educationresourcesinc.com.

CEUs

  • Are CEUs available for your courses? How do I find out which CEUs are available for one of your courses?
    • Yes, we offer CEUs for our courses. Please click on the “CEU Details” tab of each course page for course-specific CEU details. For general CEU information, please visit the Accredited CEU Provider section of our website.
  • How and when will I get my Certificate of Attendance?
    • Be sure to sign in and out of the course using the same name and email address that you used to register for the course.
    • 2-3 business days after the course, attendance will be verified and you will receive an email with a link to a course evaluation.
    • You can also sign in to your ERI account at https://www.educationresourcesinc.com with the email address you used to register.
    • In your Dashboard scroll down to the blue My Certificates section.
    • Click on the orange Take Evaluation button underneath the course name.
    • Complete the course evaluation and your CEU certificate will auto-populate in your account under My Certificates
    • Click on the blue View Certificate button to access your certificate
  • I need my certificate before attendance can be verified, can I get it sooner?
  • Why do I need to complete an exam for an online course? How do I complete the exam for an online course?
    • The governing boards require you to successfully pass an exam to receive CEUs. After viewing the complete online course, click the “Take Exam” tab and take the exam. After you have submitted your answers you will find out if you passed. A passing grade is 80% or higher. You may retake the exam as many times as you need, at your convenience, until you pass.
  • Can SLPs, SLP Assistants, and Audiologists receive CEUs for online courses? 
    • Many of our online courses have received ASHA approval. Please check the individual course page for CEU details.
    • Speech Language Pathologists that need ASHA must submit your ASHA participant form, within 7 days of taking the course. Click HERE to complete the ASHA Participant Form, and ERI will submit the information to ASHA  
    • School Therapists that require WSHLA Clock Hours must either call ERI at 508-359-6533 or email info@educationresourcesinc.com to obtain an evaluation form and a copy of the approved OSPI form.  These forms along with your CEU certificate and $10 payment are to be sent within  14 days to: Patricia Banas, 4010 Ava Lane, Bellingham, WA 98226
  • How do I receive my CEUs if I am a PT or OT in Florida?

    • Occupational Therapists from Florida that require their CEUs be reported to CEBroker must submit your participant form within 7 days of taking the course. Click HERE to complete the Participant Form, and ERI will submit the information to CE Broker.

    • Currently we do not apply to FLPT for CEUs (through CEBroker) for any on-demand courses. We do apply for FLOT for CEUs  (through CEBroker) for all on-demand courses. 
  • I lost or need a copy of the certificate of attendance from a course I attended. How do I get a replacement?
    • Please log in to your ERI account and go to the “Dashboard” tab. You will see the heading “Your Certificates”. Each of your certificates of attendance from ERI courses (starting June 10th, 2019) can be found here. You can click on any course certificate you need and download and print it. Please contact us if you have any difficulty or need a certificate from a course prior to June 10th.
  • How do I calculate the number of CEUs I will receive?
    • Please check with your state board because some state boards use a 50-minute hour and some use a 60-minute hour. Please see individual course pages, on our website, for complete CEU details.

Payment and Payment Options

  • Which forms of payment are accepted?
    • We accept Discover, Visa, Mastercard, checks, and Purchase Orders (P.O.s)
  • Does ERI accept purchase orders (P.O.s)?
    • Yes, we accept purchase orders for both live and online courses. You can mail, fax, or email a signed P.O. with a completed registration form for each registrant.
  • How do I redeem an ERI gift certificate, reward, or credit?

  • Does ERI have discounts, group rates, and/or early bird rates?
    • Please visit the Loyalty & Promotion section of our website for full details
    • We offer group rates (for three or more registrants) for many of our webinars, in-person and online courses and offer early bird rates for a few of our courses. Please check the course page for specific details.  We also have a first-time registrant discount and a rewards program.  Please call our office (800-487-6530) to redeem these discounts. You can sign up on our website to receive special offers and promotion codes.  

Registration

  • How do I register for a course?
    • Online registration is available on our website: educationresourcesinc.com. Please visit the How to Register section of our website for details. You can also phone our office (800-487-6530) to register or you may mail in a registration form.
  • Do I need to create an account to register for a course?
    • We encourage you to create an account to access your course information, receive your certificate of attendance, view any ERI rewards and payment receipts. You will also be able to receive CEU course information to meet your professional development goals, track your CEUs, hear the latest therapy tips, treatment ideas and connect with other therapists. However, you do not need to create an account to register for a course.
  • How do I know if I am registered for a course?
    • Log into your ERI account and go to the “My Dashboard” tab. All the courses you have registered for will be listed here.
  • How do I get a copy of a course brochure or registration form?
    • Go to our website: educationresourcesinc.com and click on “Search” and find the course you are interested in. On that course page, you can download a brochure and registration form.
  • Will I get a payment receipt?
    • After you register for a course you will receive an email receipt. You can also view your receipt by logging into your ERI account and going to the “My Dashboard” tab. Click on the course title and your receipt will pop up and be available to print.
  • What is included in my course registration?
    • Your course registration includes course attendance, a comprehensive course handout, a certificate of attendance, and a permanent CEU record. The host facility will provide refreshments for registration and breaks. Lunch is on your own.
  • Do you offer special rates on overnight rooms for attendees?
    • We suggest an accommodation that is close to the course venue, however, we do not offer room blocks or discounted rates. We always encourage you to do your own Internet search to find a room that meets your needs.
  • Is there a registration deadline?
    • While there is not a registration deadline, we encourage you to register at least 2 weeks prior to the course to ensure getting a space, and so we have an accurate count for course handouts and other materials. We will accept paid registrations up to the day before a course, space permitting.
  • Does ERI allow for substitute attendees?
    • Yes, we will allow substitute attendees, however, we cannot issue refunds. The registrants should work out payments.
  • When will I receive a course confirmation with course details?
    • You will be emailed a course confirmation no later than 2 weeks prior to the course. Please do not make non-refundable travel arrangements until you have received confirmation that the course will be held. Feel free to call our office to check the course status. The confirmation will include directions, parking information, and any items (i.e., doll, yoga clothing, etc.) required to give you the best possible learning experience.
  • Where can I get driving directions to an event?
    • The specific course location and directions will be included in the course confirmation. You can also view them by clicking on “Venue” in the course page on the website.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    • Education Resources, Inc. reserves the right to cancel any course due to insufficient participant demand or extenuating circumstances. Please do not make non-refundable travel arrangements until you have received confirmation that the course will be held. In the event ERI must cancel a course, you may transfer to another course of equivalent value, or request a refund. While ERI will do everything possible to ensure participant satisfaction, ERI’s liability is limited to the tuition fee only.
    • If you cancel prior to 2 weeks before a course, we can issue a refund less a $75 administrative fee. If you cancel within 2 weeks of a course, there are no refunds.  You receive an ERI credit, less a $75 fee, that you can use towards another course.  The credit is good for 7 years.
  • How will you notify me if a course is canceled?
    • In the unusual event a course is canceled due to extenuating circumstances, or insufficient participant demand, you will receive an email. If we don’t receive a response to the email, we will follow up with a phone call.
  • Who should I notify if I need special accommodations to attend your course?

    We are thrilled to have you back! As you prepare to reconnect with your peers and make in-person learning a part of your professional development, we want you to know that your safety is always our top priority.  We are fully committed to monitoring and implementing all best practices outlined by state and local regulations.  Please check the state and local best practices and guidelines before attending the course. We will send venue specific requirements with your confirmation email.

    • You will be required to show proof of vaccination and wear a mask at all times.
    • Please do not attend the course if you are experiencing any symptom of illness such as cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell.
    • Please do not attend the course if you believe you have been exposed to someone with a suspected and/or confirmed case of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 (outside of your professional role while wearing PPE)
    • If you are feeling unwell at any time during the course, please notify the faculty and leave immediately.
  • If you are unable to attend due to sickness, please contact our customer service team at info@educationresourcesinc.com .  We will be happy to provide alternate options related to your impacted event.   
  • What do I need to bring to a course?
    • Any specific requirements will be included in the course confirmation. We suggest that you dress in layers as room temperatures can vary.
  • Can I record the course?

  • How do I bring a course to my facility?

Mail and Email Preferences

  • How do I get added to your email and/or mailing list?
  • How do I get removed from your email and/or mailing list?
    • Log into your ERI account and go to the “Profile” tab. Go to the “Individual contact information heading” and uncheck the “send me relevant information” box.
  • How do I make sure email from ERI is not delivered to my Spam or Junk folder?
    • You can proactively make ERI a “Trusted Source” by adding our “From Address” (info@educationresourcesinc.com) to your address book, contact list, or safe sender list.
    • If you find an ERI email in your spam or junk folder, many email programs allow you to mark the email as a “Trusted Source” by clicking “Not Spam” or “Add to Safe Senders List” which will allow future ERI emails to be delivered directly to your Inbox.
  • Will my information be sold?
    • No; ERI will never sell your information. Please feel free to check out our Privacy Policy
