Live Webinar for Therapists. Four Sessions for 14.5 Contact Hours (1.45 CEUs)
October 11, 18, 25 and November 1, 2022
5:10 pm EST • 4:10 pm CST • 3:10 pm MST • 2:10 pm PST (US)
ERI is partnering with PG Chambers School to offer this live webinar.
This course was created out of frustration with the way children respond to traditional vestibular rehabilitation. Children are not “just smaller adults” and they have unique presentations and responses to intervention. Current literature finds that children have similar rates of vestibular dysfunction as adults. This has created the need for specialization intervention. This course will present current understandings of the scope of the problem, best practice, systematic evaluation, and treatments to address vestibular deficits in the school-aged child and adolescent. The course combines lectures,
hands-on lab, and case studies to accurately and efficiently address dysfunction. This course is updated as new information and guidelines are published. The primary goal is to challenge therapists to re-think movement and stillness in their practice, using a comprehensive understanding of the vestibular system. The principles presented can be applied across the lifespan and with a multitude of disability levels.

This was a phenomenal course! I have some experience with vestibular with regard to adult outpatient, but this enhanced my understanding of vestibular for ALL AGES! She may have focused on school age, but she touched on infant and adult. You can truly leave this course with everything you need to be a competent vestibular therapist. Thank you so much for this valuable information! -Larissa, PT -
