CEU Information for On-line Courses

Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants:

Education Resources, Inc. is an approved provider of CEUs for the following states: CA, FL, IL, KY, NC, NY, RI, TX 

  • NJ (pending online approval)
  • PA (pending online approval) 

The following state boards of physical therapy accept other states’ approval: 
AZ, AK, AR, DE, GA, ID, IN, KS, MO, MS, ND, OR, SC, TN, VA, VT, WI, WY

The following states either do not give on-line course pre-approval or do not require CEUs for re-licensure: 
CO, CT, HI, IA, MA, ME, MI, MT, NE NH, SD, UT, VT, WA, WY 

Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapist Assistants:

   Education Resources, Inc. is an AOTA  Approved Provider for Live and Distance Learning-Independent Courses

 

CEU Information for Live Courses:

Certificates of Attendance will be given to all participants who complete the conference and may be used for CEU and/or PDU/PDP verification or credits.

It is the responsibility of the individual to be familiar with the requirements set forth by their state licensing boards and to provide the board’s required documentation for licensure.

Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants

All states have different regulations for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. Education Resources applies for continuing education approval, when available, in the state where the course is being presented and sometimes in neighboring states where pre-approval is required.

ERI is an approved provider in the following states. If you are licensed in one of these states, you can earn your CEUs at any ERI course regardless of location:
CA, IL, NY, NC, RI, TX

The Following states accept another states approval, and therefore, our courses are accepted:
AK, AZ, DE, GA, ID, IN, KS, OR, MO, MS, SC, VA, VT, WI, WY

The following states do not require pre-approval:
IA, MN (type 2 courses), ME, NH, VA (for type 2 courses), UT, WA

The following states do not require CEU’s for re-licensure:
CO, HI, ME, MA, MI, SD

Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapist Assistants

AOTA
Approved provider of continuing education, by the American Occupational Therapy Association. The assignment of AOTA CEU’s does not imply endorsement of specific course content, products or clinical procedures by AOTA. Education Resources will apply to other states that require individual application.
   
NBCOT
National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. ERI is a member of the NBCOT Professional Development Provider Registry and as such, provides PDUs to occupational therapists who wish to maintain certification at all of our courses.
   
FOTA
Education Resources is approved by the Florida Occupational Therapy Association to provide CEUs.
   
  GAOTA
Documentation is provided in accordance with the Georgia Board of Occupational Therapy for License renewal

 

Speech Language Pathologists and SLP Assistants

ASHA
Education Resources, Inc. is approved by the Continuing Education Board of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) to provide continuing education activities in speech-language pathology and audiology

We often apply to the Early Intervention Training Program of Illinois for our pediatric courses in Illinois that address the unique problems of the 0-3 population.

  WSHA
Washington Speech and Hearing Association. Courses that are held in Washington state may be submitted to WSHA in order to provide clock hours for therapists and educators who work in school systems in that state.

 

It is the responsibility of the individual therapist to meet their state licensure CEU requirements and confirm that their state accepts Education Resources, Inc. courses. Check our website for number of hours approved in each state.
