  1. Michelle Westengaard says:

    Looking for NICU positioning courses.

    • Mandy says:

Hi Michelle, we do have two courses that may be of interest: Intervention for the High Risk Infant with Rose Bigsby and Therapeutic Interventions in the NICU with Tracilyn Urruela. Another course is Advanced Clinical Practice in the NICU, with Beth McManus, although this does offer less positioning content. Please use our advanced course search for full details and a brochure for each course.
Hope this helps, but please call or email with any further questions

  2. Sylvia says:

Hi: I am looking for any NICU treatment courses available within the next year.

  3. Rosalind Mayo says:

Can you tell me which course would be a good first step for a speech therapist with acute care but no nicu experience?

    • Mandy Washington says:

Hi Rosalind, we feel that there would be two great courses that would be of benefit to you:
Therapeutic Interventions in the NICU with Tracilyn Urrela
Intervention in the NICU: A Neurodevelopmental Approach with Roberta Gatlin.
I will send the relevant brochures to your email address.
Thank you for contacting us, and please feel free to call to talk to a therapist if you need further advice.
      All the best

  4. Bijal says:

Hi do you offer any only courses?

    • Mandy Washington says:

Hi, I believe you are looking for online courses? We do offer online courses for school therapists and a Vestibular Rehab series of online courses. We are currently preparing to add more courses in the future but do not have any online courses for NICU therapists. We do have a comprehensive listing of live NICU courses:
May I suggest you visit our new partner “NANT” : and check out their mentoring program.
      Hope this helps

  5. Alexandra Best says:

I am currently a COTA/L going back to school to become an OT. I am extremely interested in this area and could potential have an opportunity to complete a level 2 clinical in a NICU. I am looking to prepare myself by completing multiple CUES in this area. Could you recommend which courses I should take.

    • Mandy Washington says:

Hi Alexandra, we feel that, apart from the advanced level NICU course, all of our NICU courses would be relevant to you. This page lists all of our courses and by clicking on the link you can download a full descriptive brochure. Please however feel free to call the office to discuss content of the course with one of our therapists.
      Hope this helps

  6. Katie says:

Acute care experience and no NICU experience – our hospital just opened a NICU and wondering what courses might be beneficial for our entire team. Any possibility of setting up a private course for a team of 6-7 and opening for other therapists in the area? Please email any suggestions! Thanks so much!

  7. Cortney D Taylor says:

I’m looking for neuroplaticity brain courses due to brain bleed/injury due to prematurity.

    • Mandy Washington says:

Hi Cortney, please do call the office to speak to one of our therapists, to clarify what exactly you are looking for. We do have courses that address this as well as new courses, that are currently being developed.
      We would love to help
      Thank you
