A high percentage of children with learning difficulties struggle with visual dysfunction but it is often not detected. This session will discuss strategies and treatment to effectively evaluate and address the visual-vestibular system in the academic setting.

Participants will be able to:
1. Discuss the role of the visual and vestibular systems in successful academic performance
2. Identify visual and vestibular systems dysfunction in your students
3. List compensatory strategies to facilitate improved performance of the visual and vestibular system
4. Identify treatment strategies to enhance function of the visual and vestibular system

"This was a well-designed course with an extremely knowledgeable presenter. Information was presented at a even pace and clearly. Although I do not work in school environments, I will be able to transfer information from this course to my Early Intervention practice easily." OTR
