Course Description:

As we are getting ready to launch our new series of online courses for school therapists we will soon be archiving "Conference 1".
The sessions will remain available for purchase through March 2017.
Any therapist who registers will continue to have access to the videos for one year from purchase.

Harnessing the iPad to Empower and Engage all Learners: Access Options, New Apps and Tricks/Tips

In this session, participants witness, learn about and take part in best practices for using the iPad to engage with and personalize instruction for all learners. This workshop will focus on apps and accommodations that help keep students focused and moving forward on their goals. Participants will get to test new apps to improve student outcomes and learning objectives.

While it is not mandatory, it is recommended that you have an iPad available to practice on as you view this session.

Participants will identify:

1. A List of Resources you can access once you leave

2. At least 2 accessibility options to incorporate Universal Design of Learning into the classroom

3. At least 3 apps you can feel comfortable using on Monday

4. At least 3 innovative and inexpensive techniques to increase accessibility to the iPad
