ADVANCED VESTIBULAR REHABILITATION SERIES Individual Sessions: Central Vestibular Disorders and Cervicogenic Dizziness - Differential Diagnosis and Treatment

Course Description:

International Expert: Richard Clendaniel

Education Resources is thrilled to announce the launch of its new advanced vestibular rehabilitation online course series. The sessions are recorded live from Dr. Richard Clendaniel's highly acclaimed courses, and are now available to a wide range of health care professionals.

This 5 hour online course will focus on the assessment and treatment of one cause of vertigo, cervicogenic dizziness, and how to distinguish it from central vestibular deficits. Through lecture, case studies, demonstrations and extensive directed lab practice, participants will enhance their skills in vestibular rehabilitation. It is recommended for individuals who have experience with or who have previously taken a two day course in vestibular rehabilitation.

Dizziness due to cervicogenic causes can occur at any age, although symptoms of dizziness are the number 3 reason individuals over the age of 65 seek medical attention. It becomes the number 1 reason for seeking care in individuals over the age of 70. These individuals with vertigo and disequilibrium represent a large patient population for physical and occupational therapy.
