ACUTE AND CRITICAL CARE THERAPY SERIES Individual Sessions: Clinical Decision Making in Acute Care - Focus on Cardiopulmonary Issues
Education Resources is thrilled to announce the launch of its new Acute and Critical Care Therapy Series online course series. The sessions are recorded live from Steven Sadowsky's highly acclaimed courses, and are now available to a wide range of health care professionals.
This dynamic course will help clinicians sharpen their decision making skills using the International Classification of Function and Expanded Disablement Model Frameworks as applied to the acute care and ICU setting. You will learn to analyze what chart data impacts your therapy treatment, how bed rest impacts the cardiovascular and pulmonary physiology, and evidence based guidelines for treating the cardiopulmonary patient safely. Learn to assess for stability during your treatment in order to mobilize the patient as soon as possible. You will be able to discuss clinical conditions associated with risk for ARD, the mechanisms of hypertension, valvular and ventricular dysfunction (heart failure) and how the patient compensates physiologically.
