ACUTE AND CRITICAL CARE THERAPY SERIES Individual Sessions: Acute Care and ICU Pharmacology: Implications for Early Mobilization
Education Resources is thrilled to announce the launch of its new Acute and Critical Care Therapy online course series. The sessions are recorded live from Steven Sadowsky's, highly acclaimed courses, and are now available to a wide range of health care professionals.
Patients in the acute care setting and ICU are commonly on a multitude of drugs, which can impact their ability to be mobilized safely. This course covers common cardiovascular, sedation drugs, and glycosides seen in this setting. You will learn the dose response relationship and the definition of the therapeutic index of a drug, and be able to discuss the symptoms and side effects of various kinds of diuretics, anticoagulants and BP medications as they relate to early mobilization and intervention. We will discuss the decision tree for treatment during anticoagulation and several early mobilization protocols.
COURSE FEE: $59
