This online course covers common cardiovascular, sedation drugs, and glycosides seen in the acute care setting. You will learn the dose response relationship and the definition of the therapeutic index of a drug, and be able to discuss the symptoms and side effects of various kinds of diuretics, anticoagulants and BP medications as they relate to early mobilization and intervention. We will discuss the decision tree for treatment during anticoagulation and several early mobilization protocols.
