Bottomley Jennifer
Jennifer M. Bottomley, M.S., P.T., PhD is a dynamic and engaging speaker who is able to combine her vast experience with current research and clinical trials to support assessment and intervention strategies presented. Dr. Bottomley has a combined intercollegiate doctoral degree in Gerontology and Health Science and Service Administration and a second Ph.D. from The Union Institute in Health Science in Service Administration, Legislation and Policy Management with a specialty in Gerontology. She has a bachelors degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and an advanced masters degree in Physical Therapy from the MGH Institute of Health Professionals in Boston, MA. Currently, she works as an independent consultant setting up rehabilitation services in nursing homes and outpatient, home and community settings and serves on advisory boards for the Office of the Surgeon General and the Office on Women’s Health in the Department of Health and Human Services. Jennifer is recent past President of the Section on Geriatrics of the APTA. She has co-authored a geriatric text entitled: Geriatric Rehabilitation: A Clinical Approach. She has edited the Quick Reference Dictionary for Physical Therapy.
