Marnie Renda, MEd OTR/L, CAPS (Certified Aging in Place Specialist) is the founder of Destination Home LLC, a Cincinnati based company providing home modifications. Additionally, Marnie is an adjunct professor at the Xavier University Graduate Occupational Therapy Program and the Cincinnati State Technical College Occupational Therapy Assistant Program. She has worked in healthcare for over 20 years and received her masters in Occupational Therapy from Springfield College. Her experience includes mental health, community, skilled nursing and hospital settings. In 2007, she earned her Certified Aging In Place Specialist designation. Through Destination Home LLC Marnie works with clients, contractors and architects to create livable spaces for elders and persons with various disabilities. She has presented on topics of home modifications, aging in place, universal design and gerontechnology at state and national conferences.
