Mark Richards

Mark Richards, MS, PT, CEEAA, a dynamic and engaginginstructor, received his B.A. in Physical Therapy in 1980from the College of St. Scholastica and his M.S. inPhysical Therapy from the University of Minnesota in1997. He has numerous years of varied clinical experiencein orthopedics, sports medicine, and geriatrics and hasconducted research in strength exercise in aged therapy
patients. He has been employed on a national level forvarious companies including NovaCare, Marriott SeniorLiving Services, Aegis Therapies, and Accelerated CarePlus. In those roles he has developed and managedclinical programs including, but not limited to, strengthexercise, wellness, orthopedics, and physical agentmodalities. He is currently employed as Vice President ofClinical Services for Accelerated Care Plus (ACP, Reno,Nevada). Mark has presented numerous times at stateand national level therapy and health care conferencesincluding APTA National Meetings, APTA Combined SectionMeetings, and is a faculty member for the APTA Sectionon Geriatrics.
