Dawn Heino

Dawn Heino, O.T.R./L., is a pediatric occupational therapist at Childrens Therapy Unit in Puyallup, Washington. She is a highly regarded clinician with extensive experience in a variety of pediatric settings including: in-patient hospital, home health care, out-patient clinic, early intervention, and school based. She has extensive training working with children with a variety of disabilities including those with autism spectrum disorders. Dawn is certified in the DIR/Floortime Model through the Interdisciplinary Council on Developmental and Learning Disorders. The DIR/Floortime Model has helped her to provide a much richer and more comprehensive intervention approach for children resulting in patients achieving a higher level of function and she is excited to share it.
