AmyKageals is a speech-language pathologist with extensiveexperience assessing and treating infants with feeding and swallowing disorders in the NICU, outpatient clinic, and home settings. She has over 15 year of experienceparticipating in an interdisciplinary Feeding Clinic andperforming pediatric modified barium swallowing studies.Amy is the Rehab Manager of the Pediatric Therapy department and the Child Developmental Clinic at Carilion Children's. As a clinician, Amy worked closely with her pediatric PT andOT team members ina level 3 NICU, pediatric floor and PICU. Shehasbeen an activemember of theNICUs Breast Feeding Taskforce, Developmental Committee,Length of Stay Committee, and was a partof the Early Intervention assessment team.Amy is a member of the Early Intervention Council andis a member of the Carilion Children's Cleft and Craniofacial Clinic.
